Amazing Polish posters by Ryszard Kaja. Polish poster school continued today. | THE WEEKLY WANT
One day (after I move to my new apartment), I know that for sure, I'm gonna hang on my wall at least one poster by Ryszard Kaja, Polish painter, graphic designer and set designer, born in 1961 in Poznan. The artist is the son of Zbigniew Kaja, one of the founders of the famous Polish school of poster. I love his series describing Poland and Polish cities and the fact that the series is not closed - the artist is still creating next posters.
What delights me is the way the posters picture the very core of each of the places. The images in the posters are actually those I have somewhere in my mind when I think of all those places. It's the real Poland pictured and the very best of it at the same time. Enjoy!
